About Ted Stamen
Ted Stamen is a professional Horticulturist and an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist (individual who is involved in the care of trees). He has been in the horticulture and arboriculture industry for over 30 years with Rutgers, University of Rhode Island, Cornell University, and University of Connecticut. Recently, he was employed by the University of California Cooperative Extension, Riverside, as a Horticulturist and Arborist. A majority of his time was spent working in the field with landscapers, nurseries, arborists, pesticide applicators, and public entities. Since retiring from the University of California, he has been involved in the field of arboriculture (trees) in a variety of positions. Ted resigned from this position to become a full-time, independent consultant.
Because of his education, experience, and reputation, Ted is often called upon to be a consultant for public and private entities at the local, state, and national level.
