How I survived and passed the Certified Arborist Course the first time:

Praise from Russell BartolottaAll I did was:

  1. I read the Certified Arborist Course Study Book from front to back a few times.
  2. I did the worksheets at the end of each chapter – Then I re-studied what questions I missed on each chapter and then used the worksheets as review.
  3. Went to all the classes AND paid attention. (I also enjoyed the refreshments that Ted and his group provided.)
  4. I got a room overnight near the test location because it was too far from my home.

Basically, I just did whatever Ted recommended to do to pass the Certified Arborist Course exam. This course is comprehensive and organized with very knowledgeable and experienced speakers. I highly recommend it!

Thank you Ted!

National Golf Course Superintendent Magazine

Mission Viejo Country ClubThe Mission Viejo Country Club contracted consultant services to identify hazard trees on the golf course. The trees were ones that could cause property damage, injury, or death.

The contract also included written detailed specifications for tree pruning, planting and removal. The specifications were mailed to several tree service contractors. In turn, Ted helped the Club select a qualified contractor and acted as an inspector for the tree work performed.

This project was selected as a feature article in the National Golf Course Superintendent Magazine.
