2012 Tree Workers' Certification Preparation Course

The Tree Workers’ Certification Course will be taught in Spanish and English in a for 5 Wednesday nights and 1 Saturday morning starting on March 21, 2012.

The course is designed to assist individuals preparing for the ISA certification examination for tree workers. Others may wish to take this course to update their knowledge in tree care and management while obtaining their ISA CEU(s) or hours.

The cost of taking the test is NOT included in the course registration. Most tests are given between May and November in Southern California. Normally, there is a May test in San Diego.

  • ISA Certified Tree Workers are now required in many municipal, state and federal contracts.
  • Many developers, property managers, landscape architects and golf course superintendents write specifications requiring ISA Certified Tree Workers.
    Many commercial tree care companies, municipalities and utilities require ISA Certified Tree Worker credentials.
  • Knowledgeable people are beginning to demand ISA Certification for Tree Workers.

A check, money order or cash will be accepted. All checks should be made payable to Ted Stamen and must accompany each registration form. No purchase orders will be accepted. Registration is final. No refunds will be given. Each registrant will receive a written confirmation. Ted Stamen reserves the right to cancel this course and return registration fees without penalties. A minimum of 20 students is required for this course. Certificates of Completion will be presented at the end of the course.
