Arboriculture & Horticulture Services
Ted is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist who retired as an Arboriculture and Horticulture Advisor from the University of California. His years of experience were accumulated not only at the University of California, but at Rutgers, Cornell, University of Connecticut, and the University of Rhode Island.
Ted can provide the following arboriculture and horticulture services:
- Customized arboriculture and horticulture training at a designated site
- Training to become an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and/or Tree Worker
- Mediator to resolve landscape and tree disputes
- Hazard tree risk evaluations
- Tree species (kind) selection for specific requirements and locations
- On-site inspection services and/or individualized, written specifications to prevent construction damage to existing trees and landscapes
- Individualized, written specifications for tree pruning, planting and other requirements for homeowners' associations, developers, cities, special districts, etc.
- Individualized, written recommendations for maintenance and services for relocated trees
- Assistance in developing new arboriculture and horticulture products
- Advising, developing, writing newsletter, reports, radio, and print advertising
- Fire protection landscape recommendations
Ted conducts landscape fire prevention inspections to prevent fire losses and destruction.
